Sweet beat, the music is chill and your rap fills it in perfectly. Reminds me of some good late 90's/early 00's stuff. One of those tracks I could listen to over and over again

dunno why there's no reviews on this already bro, this is superb. every acoustic song i've tried to make just comes out too canned, you've hit the nail on the head with this one and found the perfect vibe, all the instruments worked together flawlessly and the vocals were simple but priceless. i suppose if you really wanted me to criticize something, i would say that sometimes different instruments were a little out of sync with each other, but realistically that worked out so well i'm amazed. keep this up i love it, cheers amigo
Yeah, timing has been a problem with this one since I frist started it. I covered it up enough it's not too noticeable. When I tried rerecording, the parts just didn't sound right. So I kep the originals. I was hoping nobody would notice XD
Thanks for your kind words vanguard :)
solid
glad to see you're still making music after your last bulletin man. cool stuff, the atmosphere in the beginning is tight. one thing, it was a bit hard for me to keep time til the drums kicked in, it might be cool to have something on quarter notes or a quiet tap going just for listeners to have something to hold on to. otherwise, nice work on the synths, and way to maintain a driving beat. you could probably afford to spice the kick/snare rhythm up a bit, it can still be driving without being square, if you catch my drift. keep it up bro
crisp
very chill, and i'm diggin the way the delay effect works out in this one. i think the beat works well with it, it's energetic without being too frantic or square. the intro is my favorite part. nice work :-)
Thanks for the nice review! I like to have something out of the ordinary in all of my tracks.
had me bobbin my head
very calming, the title you chose is very suiting to the feel of the song. starting at about 2:08 onwards is my favorite, i enjoy listening to your rhythms. keep up the good work!
rockin
i'm liking the overall feel of the piece, but there is a little repetition going around here. i would suggest in the places where the lead repeats itself, you throw in some kind of variation to break it up, and perhaps some 8th notes in the guitar sometimes. as it is, it's a very driving 1-3 kind of beat emphasis, if perhaps you threw in some syncopation, such as a 1-4-2-1 beat emphasis. since the rest of the song is pretty straightforward, that rhythm will seem very fast and maybe act as a good closer. good job :-)
very energetic!
very cool piece, i especially like the crowd noise as a way to keep the beat. did you chain that? anyways, good piece all around, if i had to nitpick i'd say that some of the chord changes where a little muddy. it sounded it resulted from the chord behind it holding too long, if you could make it cut off a little bit faster i think it'd sound better. also, everything was awesome until that very last note, i feel like if it had gone down to the root it would've given a better sense of closure. regardless, i really liked it, hope it's not going to be this long again before you put out another piece because i look forward to hearing it!
No sidechaining at all actually. I had a sample that fit perfectly with a little work. Hmm, you might have it. I'm very visual with stuff so this might sound stupid, but when I was putting on the final mix, It felt like elongated sphere, and I'm guessing you hit the nail on the head. When I got time, I'll turn down some of the releases and see what I get. Now that you say it, I wish I would of returned to the root octave on the arp. Are you a Blink182 fan?
neat groove
quality aside, although there is some technical playing here, the execution sounds pretty dirty to me. i'm not sure if it's the recording or not, but it sounds like there's a lot of flams, and sometimes the lead drums don't sound like they're in time with the groove going on behind them. starting around 3:45 there starts a pretty neat groove, i liked that part. all in all, i liked this piece, 7/10 and 4/5, i only wish i could've heard a clearer recording so i could be more sure about what i'm hearing. keep stuff like this coming!
by the way, am i listening to bass drums and tenor drums?
very well done
i can say i'm excited to hear this with the vocals laid overtop, it's well thought out and flows great. the only thing i can suggest is to let some of the piano notes ring longer, the way it is right now sort of sounds cut off, although that may be the way you want it. overall a great job, congrats!
